Kotikissan mikrosirun lisääminen Omakissaan

Before adding information, personal credentials must be created in Omakissa.

When you logged in to Omakissa, click on the “Cats” tab.

1.Click the Add Cat button.

When you start entering the microchip number, Omakissa informs you of how many characters you still need to input. This makes entering the microchip number series easier.

2. After entering the number series into the field, click on Search.

If the microchip number is not found in Omakissa, you can proceed to add it along with the cat’s information. If the cat is already registered with the microchip number, please contact the Finnish Cat Association (Suomen Kissaliitto) office.

3. Click on Add cat to the microchip registry

You will be presented with a form that needs to be filled out at least with the required information. Since a domestic cat does not have an EMS code, only the mandatory fields on the form are filled out. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*).

The cat’s microchipping certificate must be attached as a document. If the cat does not have a separate microchipping certificate, you can attach a picture of the cat’s health card, which displays the necessary information (microchip number and implanter).

4. Click Save, and after this, the cat will be found on your “Cats” tab.
